mama wilson in seoul!

I just got home after saying a very difficult goodbye to my mama. We had such a wonderful week together & it felt so amazing to have an important piece of home here in seoul. I spent the week showing my mum around seoul and giving her a glimpse of the life i've made here. Saying goodbye made me realize the downside of living around world, as much as i love my life here it's still difficult parting from my famjam.
Here are some pictures of my whirlwind week with my mama. I'll be counting down until we reunite again! I'm going to be getting busy planning an international film festival in seoul with my friend lauren so stay tuned!!

stickerbooth, Hongdae

Lately I have been super lucky with my work schedule and was able to have three hours off at lunch to take my mum around.

Saturday I took my mum to my favourite area, Sinsa, to enjoy some shopping and patio beers!
Later on saturday we met up with dev & kdog for some time along the han river

This cozy little wine bar in Hongdae has become my new favourite! It's got a cottage feel with a million little knick-nacks to look at, and a bathtub as a table...what more could you want at a bar?

I feel super lucky to be able to still party with my mum and want to show her off! You the best mama!

my celly is officially up to korean standards!

On friday we took my mum out for one last night in seoul! My friend Lad treated us to a delicious dinner then we headed to a new bar called Glam which is super nice and classy! Then we were off til 5am dancing!

GLAM!

Cafe& bar in Hongdae was a perfect spot for my mama's last night. You have the option of sitting on big comfy pillows or mixed-matched chairs that over look some of the more quiet streets in Hongdae. The french music, wine, decor takes you out of seoul and makes you feel like your living in France. I definitely recommend this place!

come back soon!!!!
