christmas countdown!

Its now officially five days until i take off for hawaii and get to see my family! I'm beyond excited to have some family time and have everyone together, its been too long. Saturday night was my christmas staff party with all three of my schools. The night was filled with a continuous flow of soju and beer, delicious buffet, the most epic dance offs and karaoke. It was just another reminder of how much koreans love to party and how good they are at it. It was a super amazing night, it really made me realize how blessed i am to have such amazing co-teachers and bosses.

Derek is quite possibly the greatest co-teacher i could have ever asked for!
Friday night began at yeti, a delicious Indian resturant in hongdae that plays the greatest bollywood movies on a huge projector
I promise I am good english teacher...

As much as I am excited for a break from my babies I have the say they are the cutest! I love going to work and getting the greatest hugs

Vintage!

This weekend consisted of great vintage finds, delicious coffees, my first eclipse sighting, far too much jagger, and ridiculously good music and dancing!I love walking back to my adorably small apartment on sundays after spending the day with my girls and thinking of how incredibly lucky i am to be living here! Seoul has defiantly brought me back to life after some not so pleasant months back home. I'm super grateful for seoul and my amazing friends who make life so sweet!

I'm heading to Hawaii for a christmas reunion with the wilson famjam in two weeks, I couldn't be more pumped!!!!

Seoul has some of the best hidden vintage shops scattered around the city! this weekend we checked out an old arena by Jongo station which has been turned into five floors packed full of all the vintage goodies you could want! the staff is super friendly and are so pumped to have foreigners love their vintage finds. I will for sure be making regular trips to this place!

I stopped at my local supermarket and picked up some christmas lights, they definitely make my apartment feel more like christmas and home...i might just be super tacky and keep them up all winter ^^

it's begining to feel alot like christmas

Christmas time is most definitely in the air! Even though the city is getting colder i continue to fall in love with this place. The winter weather makes me appreciate the hundreds of cozy cafes, brunches, basement vintage sales, art galleries and warming up with a delicious tea with my korean boy!
Life is sweet!
